We are officially removing the PGA TOUR Starter Card restrictions across all CORE contests! This means that starting March 30, you can enter any Reignmakers PGA TOUR CORE contest with a lineup entirely comprised of cards from your free Starter Pack. We’re excited to empower our Reignmakers community with the ability to use their starter cards in more contests, which unlocks access to the Core prize pool of over $750,000 for the rest of this season!
So you can optimize your starter card lineups ahead of contest lock, we are including special weekly Craft & Burn recipes that allow you to swap out cards from your Starter pack in exchange for starter cards of golfers CONFIRMED to be in the PGA TOUR field each week. By visiting the Craft & Burn portal, you can view all of our current recipes to take advantage of.
This new PGA TOUR Starter Contest update will start for the VALERO OPEN tournament on March 30 to April 2, and continue the rest of the season!
Lastly, we’ll be giving customers who previously purchased a Reignmakers PGA TOUR Booster Pack on the primary market as of 3/22 at 11:59 PM a chance to improve their lineups even further with an Exclusive Contest next week! Prizes will include PGA TOUR Booster packs plus $10,000 cash, and contest tickets will be distributed based on the following thresholds:
- 1-4 Booster Pack primary purchases: 1 Ticket
- 5-19 Booster Pack primary purchases: 2 Tickets
- 20+ Booster Pack primary purchases: 3 Tickets
As previously noted, pick your favorite Champion golfer, claim your FREE Starter Pack, and start building your franchise! This free pack, limited to one per user, is meant for anyone to start exploring Reignmakers PGA TOUR and contains eight (8) CORE cards including one guaranteed Champion golfer. The Champion golfers included in the first slate of Starter packs are Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Scottie Scheffler, Justin Thomas and Collin Morikawa. Tiger Woods and Xander Schauffele will also be Featured throughout the season as well.
Starter-Only Contests
We are introducing an exclusive Starter-Only contest tier each week dedicated entirely to cards within the Starter Set, so you can play free all season long! This includes $10K in weekly prizing over the first month of the season, and over $100K in total prizing throughout the rest of the year. In order to ensure you can enter a Starter lineup each week, we will be curating Starter Packs to include golfers in upcoming tournaments. In the event that you have Starter Set cards of an inactive golfer, we will also be offering weekly Craft and Burn recipes to exchange them for cards of active golfers.
Rarity Tiers and Card Scarcity
In the Reignmakers PGA TOUR game, the Golfer Game Card NFTs each have a rarity tier. In order of least scarce to most scarce, those tiers are CORE, RARE, ELITE, LEGENDARY and REIGNMAKER.
Card rarity is the most commonly used property to gate contests. Every contest will have rarity rules tied to entry, with the general structure detailed below:

For the 2023 season of Reignmakers PGA TOUR, we are offering over $13M in total prizes. There are many different ways to play, so check out how and what you can win:
- Contest Prizing: In total, we are offering $10M+ in general contest prizing, with $7.5M going towards the ELITE through REIGNMAKER tier contests. This prizing is exclusively accessible through Premium and Side Sets that are playable across all 2023 events.
